Cooking with my father

I have chosen this recipe because it reminds me my childhood when I was cooking this cake withmy father. It was a raining day and we decided to cook this cake, I was veryhappy doing it withhim.

My bother helped us too. It was a fun afternoon, what I didn´t like was cleaning the kitchen.

Chocolate chips cake

Ingredients

● 85g butter

● 85g sugar

● 100g chocolate chips

● 1 teaspoon baking powder.

● 1 egg.

● 150 flour.

● A large pinch of salt

Elaboration

  1. Preheat the oven to 180º.
  2. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  3. Soften the butter a little ( 10 seconds in the microwave, for example).
  4. Add the sugar and mix with a wooden spoon. Add the egg and mix again.
  5. Add the flour, the baking powder and the salt. Mix well until the mixture is smooth.
  6. Add the chocolate chips.
  7. Put small spoonfuls of the mixture on the baking tray. Make sure they are spaced apart.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes. Take out of the oven and leave to cool.
