Homenade Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 medium tomato, diced into small cubes
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped or minced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon into a large bowl.

2. Using a fork, mash the avocados until you get a smooth consistency with some chunks.

3. Add the diced tomato, chopped onion, minced garlic, lime juice, and fresh cilantro to the bowl with the mashed avocados.

4. Gently mix all the ingredients with a spoon or fork, being careful not to overmix to maintain a slightly chunky texture.

5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting the amounts according to your personal preferences.

6. Serve the homemade guacamole in a bowl and garnish with some fresh cilantro sprigs on top.
