This recipe belonged to my great grandmother, then it went to my grandmother and now to my mother.
I rally like this recipe because we usually use it for family birthays and other celebrations.

The Granmothers Cake
Ingredients
- 2 o 3 packets of maría type biscuits square o round
- 1,5 litres whole milk
- 2 sachets prepares for custard
- 5 tablespoons of sugar
- chocolate powder to make
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Method
- We pour 750 ml of milk into a saucepan and from that milk .
- We pour a little to mix it with the preparation for custard, stir well an add it to the saucepan with the sugar.
- In another saucepan we pour the 750 ml of milk and from that milk in a bowl we pour a little milk and the cornstarch, stir well until it dissolves well and we pour it into the saucepan and little by little we stir and add the choccolate until it thickens.
- When it has cooled down a bit in a mould , we put a little schocolate then a layer a biscuits, another layer of vainilla, then another of biscuits, another layer of vainilla, then another of biscuits and so on until it is finished.
- Then put it in the frigde.
