Sponge Cake

Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 140g sugar
- 120g cake flour
- 1 pinch of salt
Filling
- Nutella to taste
- Fondant for decoration
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray (30x40cm/12×16 inches) with baking paper and set aside.
- Beat all the ingredients until frothy.
- Bake for 12 minutes (180°C/350°F).
- Divide the sponge cake into 4 equal parts and layer one sponge layer with a layer of filling. Repeat with the remaining 4 layers.
- Spread Nutella on top of each sponge layer and stack them on top of each other. Once assembled, knead the fondant and roll it out over the top to resemble a book cover. Decorate as desired.
