Really delicious

We chose this recipe because it’s easy to make but is really delicious and we decided to theme it as a beach because we like swimming in the sea and summer season.

Beach Cake

Ingredients:

  • 225 g of flour
  • 225 g of sugar
  • 125 ml of oil
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 spoon of vanilla extract
  • Butter for greasing
  • Baking poder
  • Chocolate
  • Milk
  • Blue fondant
  • Marshmallows (optional)
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
  • Inflated oat

Utensils:

  • Ovenproof mold
  • Oven sheet
  • A spoon
  • A mixer
  • Bowls
  • Oven

Method

  1. Firstly, break the eggs and divide the whites from the yolks. Put each one in a separate bowl.
  2. In a bowl, mix the yolks with the sugar until the mixture becomes white and almost doubles its volumen. Add vanilla extract to the mixture.
  3. Sieve the flour and the baking powder onto the mixture, mix well and let rest.
  4. Now, in a separate bowl, beat the whites until it forms stiff peaks.
  5. We mix both bowls and beat until the mixture is
homogeneous. If you want to add chocolate chips, this is the moment.
  6. We grease the oven mold with some butter and bake the cake at 180 ºC for 40 minutes.

Decoration:

  1. Make a chocolate cream by cutting chocolate chunks, adding milk and put in the microwave until the chocolate melts, then mix well.
  2. Pour the chocolate cream mover the cake and put the inflated oat over it.
  3. Mold the fondant so it becomes a plain mass and put it so it looks like the sea.
  4. Finally, add marshmallows as the swimmers.
