Una mayonesa para bailar

The Recipe: Mayonesa
Mayonnaise is a cold emulsified sauce made mainly of whole egg and vegetable oil smoothies. Menorcan origin, usually seasoned with salt, lemon juice or vinegar. This is a sauce of Spanish origin. Today it´s used in a many international dishes to accompany.
INGREDIENTS: Mayonnaise is made with whole egg and vegatable oil smoothties.

  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 egg
  • ½ lemon juice
  • salt

Elaboration:

  1. The first is to beat the egg and go slowly adding the oil.Doing it with a machine, Blender or mixer, gets thickned before. By moving the mixer, first beat the yolks and let the arm up slowly until it the mixture emulsifies.
  2. When the mixture has thickened oil and egg, add lemon juice and the desired amount of salt is added.
  3. The mayonnaise is ready when the texture is creamy.

SONG: MAYONESA grupo Chocolate
“Chocolate” was a band of tropical music of Uruguay. Founded by Juan Carlos Cáceres in the mid-90s, it was well known between 2000 and 2003, in most of Latin America, also in the United States, where they toured in 2001. Throughout its career, the group got more than twelve Gold records and five Platinum, some of these were two gold in Argentina and three Platinum enUruguay.
Its best-known song was «MAYONESA», thanks to it, the group became famous locally. Musically it is a mix of candombe, murga and tropical.
