Una peli muchas veces vista

Hola!! Somos Julia.

Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
For the Cake

  • 225g dark chocolate
  • 175g unsalted butter
  • 225g castor sugar
  • 90g plain flower
  • 6 eggs

For the Coating

  • 225g dark chocolate
  • 300ml double cream

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C / 350 degrees F
  2. Separate all the eggs into yolks and whites
  3. Lightly beat the egg yolks
  4. Grease and line 20 inch cake tin with greaseproof paper / baking parchment
  5. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water
  6. Add in the butter and mix until melted
  7. I would advise off the heat (but I did it on accidentally) mix in the flower, sugar and (lightly beaten) egg yolks
  8. Whisk up the egg whites – what you’re looking for is a white stiff mixture
  9. Fold half the egg whites gently into the chocolate mixture
  10. Once combined, gently fold in the remaining half of the egg whites
  11. Pour the mixture into the tin
