4 minutes “Oral activity” preparation text: “48 Hours ONLY ENGLISH”

Today I´m going to talk about the things that we did when we went to the “48 HOURS ONLY ENGLISH” in Corconte.

On Tuesday, we were going to leave school at 9 more or less, but the bus had a problem on the road and it arrived late to school, so we arrived a bit late to Corconte. When we arrived, we got the bags and we left it in the hall of the hostel because we had to know the leaders and the rules of the place.
First of all, the leaders spoke with us and told us the hostel rules and then, we played a game to know the places of the hostel. There were pieces of paper with the name of a part of it, and in teams, we had to put these pieces of paper in their places as soon as possible.
After it, we took the luggage to the rooms, and we started a game again. It was to learn our names. We played the game “gunman” 2 or 3 times and I think after it we had free time to do what we wanted.
At 2 o’clock, we had lunch and we ate pasta with tomato and pork loin fillet. The dessert was and apple.
After lunch we planned the song and the dances to do a flash mob with the teachers and the leaders. We chose a song, and, divided in 4 teams, we had to move the lips pretending that we were singing that song.
After finish with this, each team chose an Anglo-Saxon country. We studied Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Scotland. We had to learn some about our country and we had to write a text for reading it to the other people. When we finished with it, each team prepared 2 challenges for the other teams and they had to pass it.
The next activity was doing Scottish cookies, we mixed butter, flour, sugar and salt, we made forms, and we cooked it in the oven. After a while, we had free time for playing football or being at the disco, because at 9 we had to have dinner.

We ate delicious food like pizza or sandwiches.
When we finished the dinner, we went to the village to play a game in the darkness and later, we went to the disco to dance. The leaders played a lot of songs and we danced a lot, included teachers and leaders.
We stayed there until 1 and then we went to the bedrooms to sleep, but we were speaking for a while in our bedrooms and finally, we went to sleep.
The next day, one leader woke up us, we gotdressed, we organized all the things in the bedroom and we picked up the luggage because we had to leave the hostel. We had breakfast and we went to the multiadventure area to do a lot of activities. We rode quads, we threw out of a zip line, we climbed up a climbing wall using a helmet and a harness, and we did archery.

After it, we tested the flash mob and when we finished doing it, we had lunch; we ate lentils, fish and ice cream. When we finished the food, we had free time and we saw our video, and it was really good.
More or less at 4, we put the bags in the bus and we left the youth hostel.
