In third of Secondary School we’re reading two very interesting books.
En tercero de la E.S.O. estamos leyendo dos libros muy interesantes.
Primero, ‘Novela de ajedrez’ de Stefan Zweig. Lo estamos leyendo con motivo del proyecto de ajedrez que se está llevando a cabo en nuestro colegio. Es una interesante historia de intriga con un genio del ajedrez en plena Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Por otro lado, en clase de lengua, estamos leyendo el clásico del teatro español ‘Tres sombreros de copa’, de Miguel Miura. Una «comedia del absurdo» con muchos enredos y mucho humor que se desarrolla en los años cincuenta. Lo estamos representando mediante personajes.

First, ‘The Royal Game and Other Stories’ (In spanish, ‘Novela de ajedrez’) by Stefan Zweig. We’re reading this book connection with the ches sproject that’s carrying in our school. It’s an interesting tale of intrigue with a chess genious in full Second World War.
On the other hand, in language class, we’re reading the Spanish theatre’s classic ‘Tres sombreros de copa’ by Miguel Miura. A «comedy of the absurd» with a lot of entanglements and a lot of moods. It happens in the 50s and we’re representing that by characters.
